Journalist Clive Thomson interviewed me last month to obtain some background info on the Droneposal for a Smithsonian Magazine article. The September issue featuring the article hit newsstands (and the Web) today. The piece, entitled "Snapshot Nation", takes a historical look at cultural upheaval spurred by technical advancements in photography. He introduces the essay with a brief description of my UAV-based betrothal to illustrate how accessible aerial photography has become for the average hobbyist.
